Case study
250 attendees played. Zero paper.
At the 2026 Mill Creek Festival & Street Fair (July 11–12), the Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce replaced paper bingo cards and raffle stubs with MoveNSeek, a game platform attendees ran entirely from their phones — no app install, just a QR scan to start.
“I’m three weeks out from my festival… I didn’t think it could happen. I had a five minute conversation with them and it happened.”
What ran at the festival
- VIP Vendor Bingo — A 5×5 card where every square is a sponsor booth. Attendees filled squares by scanning each booth's QR code in person — driving foot traffic to all 25 sponsors across the festival grounds. Sponsor logos appeared right on the card.
- Secret Agent Mission — A 7-stop scavenger hunt themed for the festival's title sponsor, playable in about 20–30 minutes.
- Live schedule + announcements — Organizers steered crowds in real time — "tribute band starting at the community stage" — from an admin panel.
- Leaderboard — Points and rankings updated live as attendees played.
What the organizers got
- ~250 attendee sign-ups over the weekend — Each with contact info collected with consent — a follow-up list the Chamber owns.
- A "Be part of the 2027 Festival" interest form — Volunteers, vendors, and sponsors for next year, captured while enthusiasm was at its peak.
- Foot traffic for sponsors — Every bingo player physically visited sponsor booths to complete their card — blackout required visiting all 25.
- No printing, no stubs, no manual draw — Prize redemption verified from the attendee's own screen.
It held up under festival conditions
Two-day outdoor event, bright sun, spotty signal, hundreds of devices. MoveNSeek is built for exactly that: it works in mobile browsers on any phone, queues scans offline and syncs when signal returns, and scan validation happens server-side so nobody can cheat their way to a prize.
